OPERATIONS
Scheduled tasks
Automate supported maintenance without creating a shell script.
Choose a supported action
Tasks can refresh APT lists, install security updates, restart a service or container, update a managed app or create a backup. Choose a schedule preset or supported cron expression. There is no task type for arbitrary shell commands.
Understand the schedule
Five-field cron follows the server’s local time and cannot run more often than every five minutes. Each run uses its owner’s current permissions and Linux authorization. Revoking those rights can prevent future runs even if the schedule still exists.
Run, inspect and recover
Use Run now, cancellation and history to inspect outcomes. A missed schedule within 12 hours is caught up once; the last 100 runs are retained. Review failed runs and their prerequisites instead of assuming a scheduled operation succeeded.
