Home Assistant
Bring your rooms, devices and supported controls into EveryOS.
Connect your home
Use the Home Assistant app or Settings → Widgets to enter your server URL and long-lived access token. The token remains on the server. Review connection audience and display/control scopes: new connections default to explicit All scopes, while existing selected scopes stay selected.
Browse devices and use controls
Browse actual rooms, search devices or all entities, inspect live state, manufacturer and model, then use controls the integration supports. Control actions require apps:manage permission and depend on each device’s advertised capabilities. Add useful entities as desktop widgets. State refresh is approximately every 15 seconds.
Know the integration boundary
EveryOS is a companion to Home Assistant. Camera streams, alarm codes, arbitrary or custom services, media URLs and firmware remain in Home Assistant. Device and room metadata need working WebSocket forwarding; state reads and supported controls may continue when metadata is unavailable.
