Desktop apps & catalogs
Install signed desktop tools alongside your container applications.
Choose the right app type
The Store includes signed .eosapp desktop packages and supported Docker applications. Desktop apps run in isolated windows with declared capabilities. The official catalog includes 29 apps such as Notes, Code Editor, PDF Viewer, SQL Client, Video Player, Image Viewer and Gallery.
Review permissions and updates
Review each app’s requested capabilities, installation source and updates. App files, storage, network tools, widgets and host operations remain subject to server-side permissions and explicit confirmations where required. Revoke access when appropriate. The SSH Keys app manages keys; it is not a remote SSH terminal.
Use community and private catalogs
The community registry is registry.everyos.net, starts disabled and requires administrator enablement; submissions undergo human review. Verify private-registry URLs, keys and fingerprints before trusting them. Container catalogs use their separate supported Linux Compose contract. Definition updates retain existing app settings rather than silently replacing them.
